Gig 3: Photos from Sun 28th gig @ the 'Home of Rock'n'Roll

Our friend Lemmy invited to perform an impromptu show @ his little club in the South East of Berlin. Looks like a little Bar you would find in the USA really, just a concrete shed, room with a Bar, stage and a heap of previous gig posters aligning the walls, very Teddy Boy oriented.

Gig 3: Berlin @ the Home of Rock'n'Roll.....last minute offer ;)

So, we met with another local promotor, Lemmy.....an old Teddy Boy Rocker from back in the day, a totally nice fella. So he saw us at the Car Show on Sat and was keen to put together a show for us and began organizing it there and then.....so fast forward to Sunday and we arrive at our apartment in South West Berlin that will be our temporary home for 3 days while we are recording at Lightning Recording Studio. We arrive in Berlin about 1pm and take a quick look around the local area before getting ready to head down to the show in this small but happening little club that is known locally as the 'Home of R'n'R. A small but most appreciative crowd, we even had Lemmy up on washboard and 'Humpty' from the Round Up Boys on snare sharing a tune with us. It was a great show too, reminded us of the Gem in many ways because of the small intimate crowd.

Anyway, more updates and photos to come......but for now it's off to sleep to get up in the morning for our first recording session....should be heaps of fun.

Gig 2: Diedersdorf U.S. Classic Car Show - Sat 27th Aug

So, day 3 of our tour saw us leave Dresden and head North to Diedersdorf, a little Village about 30mins south of Berlin where we performed at the U.S. Classic Car Show. Wow, what a buzz this place was, a little village with these two huge old Barns located at the end of some suburban cobblestone streets which was housing two stages as well as a car display around the grounds. The weather took a turn when we headed into town with some local rain, but just showers which was enough to put a slight damper on the Car Show part but didn't deter many from coming still. The line up of bands was superb, We Kicked off one stage at about 6:30pm and I think we left and impression, then we got to see a great band from Spain called the 'Beer Bellies' as well as our new friends The Jungle Tigers, Ruby Ann & The Round Up Boys, Cherry Casino & the Rumblers (absolutely killer), plus we got to catch up with our friends who we played with in Dresden the night before, The Go Getters.

Well, it was here that we made some contacts and was asked to do a last minute show on the Sunday night in Berlin as we were heading there anyway. (More photos to come)

Gig 1 - Dresden, Germany......Hechtfest & Rosis

Well.....talk about making you feel welcomed! Really been looked after by our new friend Markus who booked us, fed us, supplied us with plenty of beverages and made us feel very special. Crowd was, well, warm not crazy but hey....they are just seeing us for the first time. Go Getters were obviously very popular, they must have played about 10 encores ;). We did our first gig at 9:00pm at the outdoor festival then headed down the street to Rosis at 12:30am ready to kick into another set before the Go Getters came on at about 1:30-2:00am & played till about 4am.....crazy.

The tour van is great....feels like a real tour ;). Crazy Germans passing us on the Autobahn at over 150kms or more......wild.

Well, off to pick up our T-Shirts from the screen printers before we head to Diedersdorf for the U.S. Classic Car Show where we once again meet up with our new friends, the Go Getters as they are performing there too.

Felix waiting to go on the outdoor stage, man it's soo hot here in Germany right now....very high humidity.

On stage last night at Rosis in Dresden just before the Go Getters.

This was on Thursday when we arrived, Bernd & Alicia were fantastic hosts and even helped us put our CD's together. They put on a fantastic spread of food and plenty of beer of course ;). Bernd also lent us a Double Bass and Amps for the shows....what a guy!

Well, off to Diedersdorf.......see you all again soon on here!

Cheers, Tyron
